1.
waiting 01:05
everything is turning gray the spectrum is changing always tired, always waiting will this apathy cease or will nothing stay? please move closer i'm sick of this lonely skin
2.
i keep thinking of these things like how it would've been if you'd stayed or if i hadn't pushed you away but my tounge keeps falling over when i try to assemble these words into phrases i'll try not to sound harsh or too afraid but it comes out wrong and the apologies i've thought of for months are replaced by "happy new year"
3.
we move 01:13
we move carefully grazing the surface we're so high yeah but we're feeling low dreaming of places where we can hide are we lost? we're so high yeah but we're feeling low
4.
i watch your figure pass by the saddest distance for me to feel my mind is getting cold now when i'm dying like a star surrounded by the empty space you left me i know that you were showing some attention but i never really got that point
5.
the night we broke up you said "i hear dial tones more often than your voice" and i didn't know what to say (i never did) i should've said sorry, but every conversation feels empty i've never been so distant from everyone and everything, i guess something changed ... (waiting for some kind of gesture, maybe a smile or a look, to make me something more than a ghost) ...
